The new mAT-1500ProII
1500 watt automatic antenna tuner

mAT-1500ProII 1500 watt automatic antenna tuner.
1500 watts SSB/CW, 800 watts data modes. Intelligent control from many Icom, Kenwood, and Yaesu transceivers.
Main features:
The mAT-1500ProII can accurately measure RF power output and SWR and displays them on a 4.3-inch high-resolution screen. The display also shows information on the working status of the tuner. When the tuner is set to BYPASS mode, it can still be used as an accurate RF power & SWR meter.
Display features average and PEP output power and SWR measurement plus tuner status.
mAT-1500ProII features a transceiver interface controllable from the front panel TUNE button of your transceiver like other external automatic antenna tuners. Connect an optional mAT-CI, mAT-CK, or mAT-CY cable. Press TUNE, the transceiver sends a low power signal to actuate the tuner and disables the keying line of the connected amplifier. Even if the amp is on and in operate mode it will not go into transmit when the tuner is in the tuning sequence.
Can be used with any HF radio and amplifier in GENERAL mode without transceiver control. The tuner is supplied with a PTT loop. Relay keying sequence is transceiver > tuner > amplifier. When the TUNE button on the front of the mAT-1500ProII tuner is used, the PTT output to the amplifier is disabled preventing it from transmitting.
For Yaesu: connect mAT-CY cable from transceiver to amplifier. Connect RCA cable from loop output on tuner to amplifier keying relay. No direct connection from transceiver to amp to key the amplifier is used. Loop output is disabled when the TUNE button is used.
For Icom/Kenwood: connect mAT-CI or mAT-CK cable from transceiver to amplifier. Connect linear amplifier keying relay from transceiver to tuner PTT loop input. Connect RCA cable from loop output on tuner to amplifier keying relay. Loop output is disabled when the TUNE button is used.
Remote interface via an RS-232 available in GENERAL mode (see documentation).
Specifications:
mAT-1500ProII is not usable for QSK (full break-in) CW operation.
